Outer Banks, Days 5 & 6

I think that is finally the end of the pictures. I finished just in time for the Parkers to arrive for a long weekend visit. Hooray!

Outer Banks, Day 4

Wading pool, kites, and boogie boards...

Several mornings during our "fill the pool" bucket trips we caught tons of sand fleas. The girls had fun trying to count them, catch them with shovels (they wouldn't touch them) and watching Dad and I man-handle them back into the bucket.

JB couldn't resist a trip to Kitty Hawk Kites.

Sarah befriended the kids in the next gypsy camp over. This girl is Sarah's age and was riding the waves like a pro. Sarah wanted to give it a whirl.

Outer Banks, the photo opp

Ahhhh, the yearly photo opp. I'm glad that my husband humors me and even dances behind the camera doing crazy things in order to get the girls to look in the same direction, smile, laugh and occasionally make faces.

Outer Banks, Rainy Day

The third day brought rain. This was fine with us as the girls really needed some down time.

The girls were promised huge bowls of yummy goodness if they behaved for our yearly beach photo opp. They were, of course, huge hams and posers, but we got some great shots. See previous post...
