Welcome, Frank!
Congrats to Ash and Heath on the arrival of Frank!! JB and I are thrilled to have yet another boy from a quality family for the girls to choose from. While Frank is obviously the star of this photo, I can't help but comment on what is written on the dry erase board in the background. Those of us who have pushed out a baby know how important those little pills are! I was finally able to upload a video, too...

Yeah for naps!
Anna is finally starting to get into a napping groove. She's taking a good solid one in the morning and the afternoon one is getting longer. Perfect timing since today is Sarah's last day of summer school. The Fall semester starts in three weeks.
Our smiley face...

We went to the Farmer's Market on Saturday. Sarah felt the need to "get fancy."

I am now officially closer to 40 than I am to 20. (Note how the heat from the candles is visible in the picture... ). This is the first year that JB had to make my cake. He did a fabulous job on the Wacky Cake. The icing was bit runny, but that just meant I got to eat some with a spoon. Come on, you know you've done it. Maybe not when you still have 10 baby pounds to lose, but you've done it.

We are awaiting Aunt Beth's arrival next weekend. Sarah already has the entire week planned out. Rest assured it includes Pump It Up, swimming and tennis. Aunt Beth better eat her Wheaties!

Anna had her 2 month check-up today. She gained two pounds since our last visit and is now 11 pounds, 2 ounces. She's also grown an inch. She weathered her first shot like a champ and only cried while the needle was actually in her chubby little leg. She's starting to hold her head up quite a bit and smiles almost every time she sees the monkey that hangs from her playmat. She also discovered her hand this week. Since she still won't take the pacifier I think we may have a thumb sucker.

Christie and Mike spent a few days with us on their way to the beach. Sarah decided they needed to visit Pump It Up with her. She insisted that one of them follow her everywhere she went. Mike even got her to go all the way down the big slide with her hands in the air the whole time. Here's a picture of them in the obstacle course. They went to the pool with us, too, but since I don't even want pictures of me fully clothed on the blog, I opted not to post any from that excursion!

4th of July
We hope everyone had a great 4th of July. We started the festivities with a parade at Sarah's school. It was her first one and she was really excited about it. We decorated her tricycle with flags and streamers and she made a Statue of Liberty hat at school to wear. She almost got her picture in the paper and she was on tv. Here are the links...

Here is a video (if you look closely you'll see JB, too!):

And some pictures of our own... We thought for sure that Sarah would pedal on her own when she saw the other kids doing it, but it didn't take long for the teachers to realize that Sarah needed a "helper" to make it all the way around the quad.

We went to Ali and Brandon's for a cookout. The kids were all dressed in their patriotic garb and we talked Sarah into posing with the babies for a picture.
