London

Words can't describe what an amazing trip we had.

We only had 1 full day in London, so it was a whirlwind. Thank goodness for the double decker bus tours!

The view from our room the first night...

Trafalgar Square...

The Olympic Clock. We didn't feel like waiting our turn to stand underneath it, so we got a cute shot of some random kid.

Nelson's Column

The lions...

The London Eye...

The steps of St. Paul's Cathedral. Look familiar? Here's a hint: "Feeeeeed the birds."

My favorite shot from London... the London Bridge.

Buckingham Palace...

Just happened to be there during the changing of the guard.

We took a ride on the London Eye. It was a pretty hazy day, but still pretty cool to see London from way up high.

Houses of Parliament, Big Ben and Westminster Abbey.

Next Up: What I learned in Paris (plus some pretty awesome pictures)

Pinkalicious.... finally

The Pinkalicious 6th Birthday Party went off without any major glitches. Everyone was healthy this year (whew!) and we let the attendees bring gifts for the guest of honor for the first time. It was fun to watch them hand Sarah their gifts... they were almost as excited as Sarah!

Let's get this party started!

Every pink craft supply possible. This was the big hit of the party.

Pink playdough.

Pink bracelets.

Pinkalicious.

The gifts.

This was the one glitch of the party. Girl in the fedora is a second grader, who Sarah had never met, dropped off by her dad with the younger sister. They arrived 1 hour and 30 mintues late and weren't picked up until 20 minutes after the party ended. Oh, and their gift was a board game for ages 8 and up. Ridiculous, I tell you.

I still can't believe our Sarah Maxine is 6 years old. Where does the time go?
