The Revel

It's like Riverfest, but a week long and with art.  The food is outrageously expensive and crazy unhealthy, but oh so good.

Pretend grocery store...

Hat making...

Bracelets, necklace, key chain making...

And stage performances...
Anna was asked to be a cow at the beginning of the Mutts Gone Nuts show.

The laso got a little too close to her nose, but she was all smiles at the end...

I let them bungee to the tune of $7 each.
Despite the terror on her face in this picture Sarah LOVED it.

Anna enjoyed it, but the experience didn't meet her expectations...
"I asked him to shoot me higher mom, but he said I was too little.  Doesn't he know I'm almost 4 and a half?!"

And we ended with a funnel cake.

St Louis 2012

We had an another amazing time in St. Louis!

St Louis Zoo, Rock Climbing, The City Museum, The Magic House, St Louis Botanical Gardens.  Oh, and our George.

I don't have pictures of it all, but here are some highlights.

The City Museum.
If you go, remember to take knee pads, courage and someone like Cheech.

Walk to Tower Grove Park.

Nothing better than watching others love your kids.

Upper Limits Indoor Climbing
She scaled the 35 foot wall multiple times.

Storytime after breakfast.

St. Louis Botanical Gardens.
Excellent children's garden!

G's first time at a Splash Pad.
Think he liked it?

Tickles and Bellyblows from his oldest cousin.
This kid has the best smile!

Anybody out there?

Will anyone notice these?  Or is my audience gone forever?

Santa Rosa Beach, FL
July 2012

Anna:
Lover of all things beachy, with the exception of her skin's aversion to sunscreen.
Thank goodness for long sleeved rash guards.

Sarah:
Goggle-wearing wave rider and connoisseur of storytelling.
TuTu's Johnny and Winifred had to take a back seat to Aunt Beth's Elphaba.

Halloween, Pie Run and the Tooth Fairy

I know. I know. It's almost Christmas and I am just getting around to posting about Halloween. You'll get over it....

Grandma came through once again with some fabulous costumes for the girls and me! We had a great time trick or treating and , as usual, came home with entirely too much candy.

The Pie Run! Sarah and JB had a blast participating in the inaugural race. Sarah did the one mile fun run and JB the 5K. Sarah ran the first half mile by herself and JB joined her for the second half.

The Tooth Fairy finally got to visit the Bleil household. Someone was so excited that she didn't even mind getting her two bottom teeth pulled! Hooray for awesome dentists.
