Happy Father's Day!
I think JB's first Father's Day as a father of two was a pretty good one. We started with blueberry muffins (and presents!), then headed outside to enjoy the cool morning in our pajamas. We ended the day at our favorite Mexican place followed by homeade chocolate chip cookies. What more could a dad ask for?

I've been trying for the last week to upload a video or two, but for some reason the website isn't cooperating. Here's a link to a video on the site I used to use for sharing videos. Hopefully this method works until I can figure out what the problem is with blogger...

Just a few random pictures from the week. All of the friends we have made this year are starting to leave for their next assignments. This week we said good-bye to little Buzz and his parents Tamara and Matt. They're headed to Virginia Beach, so if we end up in DC next year we'll be able to make a trip or two to see them. Sarah and I went to the Farmer's Market this morning to get some peaches and corn. A balloon guy made the most elaborate balloon creature I've ever seen... Cinderella. Sarah has been having a ball with her. Summer has definitely arrived and Scout's non-stop shedding is proof. We got enough fur off of her in about 3 minutes to make a coat. She is the poster child for the Furminator. For those of you with shedding dogs, you really should get one. They are worth every penny!

We're settling in...
Grandma and Grandpa left on Thursday. We were sad to see them go, but they'll be back in a few weeks for another visit. In the meantime we will continue to battle sleep deprivation, constant feedings, and a whiney three year old. (Though summertime fun has prompted several naps this week!). This weekend brought another playdate with Pierce and more and more alert time for Anna.
