Arrival Day

We arrived at The Contemporary by midmorning and spend the rest of the day exploring our the hotel and eating with Mickey and his pals!

On our balcony.... First glimpse of Cinderella's castle.

Chillin' in the room...

View from our room of the expansion of Fantasy Land. Pretty sure the castle in the middle belongs to the Beast.

Getting the autograph book ready....

Mickey!

The first of many, many desserts.

Dallas Arboretum

Sorry for the delay in posting pictures of our Disney trip. Most of you know we have had a lot on our minds over the last few weeks. So, without further delay....

We started our trip in Dallas at the Arboretum. Pumpkins were everywhere. Literally. Pumpkins and gourds of all shapes and sizes and colors. They lined walks, they were hanging on houses, they. were. everywhere! We also had the bonus of good weather, beautiful gardens and good company. Thanks, Bubba and Holly!

Next stop: The Contemporary Resort!

The camera has been on vacation while we unpack, get settled, etc. I did, however, unearth it to take some pictures of the girls on the neighbor's trampoline. I hate it, but they, of course, love it and want to go jump at 2pm when it is approximately 8,000 degrees. I have managed to make it an after dinner affair so that at least it has cooled down to 7,500 degrees.
