Peaches & Blackberries

I was going to try to only post a few pictures from each day, but I am finding it impossible to choose which ones make the cut. I'll be short and sweet with comments and let the pictures do the talking.

We arrived, we swam in the pool, we ate, we walked on the beach...

Sarah's first dance recital

Sarah's recital was last weekend. She had been looking forward to dancing on the big stage all year. Other then getting slightly distracted by the lights she did a fabulous job. I was emotional, she got flowers and then promptly ran a fever that night. Too much excitement I suppose.

Father's Day

JB downloaded this app for the iPad that allows me to blog. Our first night at the beach I sat down and did an Ode to JB Father's Day entry, but for some reason it didn't post. So, here is the shortened version... We spent Father's Day jumping through sprinklers and grilling. JB is the best dad on the planet.

PaPaw's Visit

How lucky am I to have an 80-something year old grandfather who is willing to travel to visit us? We packed his visit with as much as he and the girls could handle..

Day One: fountains and hanging out at home...

Day Two: Pentagon tour with JB and an afternoon nap. Sorry, no pictures.

Day Three: DC Excursion... Korean War Memorial, Vietnam War Memorial and WWII Memorial. Uncle Chip and Meg also drove down to visit.

Day Four: Pancake breakfast and hugs. PaPaw went back with Chip and Meg to Fire Island. The visit went by too quickly.
