It's hot. We went bowling. They loved it. The End.

The camera has been on vacation while we unpack, get settled, etc. I did, however, unearth it to take some pictures of the girls on the neighbor's trampoline. I hate it, but they, of course, love it and want to go jump at 2pm when it is approximately 8,000 degrees. I have managed to make it an after dinner affair so that at least it has cooled down to 7,500 degrees.

George Matthew
Last week the house was packed up and loaded onto the moving truck. We left Northern Virginia with tears in our eyes (at least I did!), but were beyond excited about heading to St. Louis to meet George Matthew. The trip went amazingly well. The girls both had their moments, but overall were great travelers. After an overnight stay in Kentucky, we arrived in St Louis ready hold our newest family member!
Christie and Mike live a few blocks from a really nice, big park. Several playgrounds and many walking trails. It was too hot for the girls to don their helmets and go for a ride, but we did hit the playground one morning so the new parents could catch a nap.
Anna was, like most little kids, very quick to pick up on what the baby does a lot of...
My beautiful sister...
A St Louis trip isn't complete without a trip Ted Drewes.
Anna's tat.... "Yeeeeeeah."
TuTu with her grands!
After another day in the car we arrived in Little Rock ready to play with Gramps! Thanks so much to TuTu for helping us make the drive and for opening her home to us while we wait for our things to arrive in Shreveport. We couldn't have done it without you!!

Sarah's Recital
The big stage, the bright lights, the fun costume, the applause... I think I look forward to it as much as she does.
(pictures taken at dress rehearsal b/c "no recording devices of ANY kind are allowed during the performance!")

At the end of the dance she took a bow. Her very own, personal bow. I couldn't believe it I caught it on camera.

Greg's visit...
It took him two years, but he made it before we moved. And that's all that counts!
Introducing him to The Bug Club...
Sunday morning we went to Meadowlark Botanical Gardens. It's one of our favorite places and we knew Bubba would love it.

Checking out the Fairy Door. I'm thinking there might just have to be a fairy living in one of our trees in S'port.

As soon as we started walking across the bridge to the gazebo the water was filled with geese, turtles and giant fish all waiting for a snack. Sorry, critters, we'll feed you next time.
