We took a break for breakfast and one of us happened to check the weather. Weather.com greeted us with a Winter Storm Warning. We didn't want to get stuck in DC and miss our trip south. Southwest Airlines was extremely accommodating and moved our flight up 24 hours without any fees.
The rest of the morning was a bit crazy... we had half the presents to open, suitcases to pack and an airport to drive to. We managed to make it without forgetting a thing. :-)
